Top Game Competition Team
In addition to getting you in better shape, Jiu Jitsu is also a sport with a ton of tournaments around Texas, the country, and the world. We can always be seen at local events such as IBJJF and American Grappling Federation competitions. Our competition team trains hard, and is always looking to bring home the gold. If you're looking for a new sport that trains as a team, and competes individually, then Top Game Jiu Jitsu is for you!
Each class starts with a warm-up exercise that pertains to that days technique such as movement drills, speed drills, and any other techniques to get your body ready for class.
In this part of class students will learn the submission holds, escapes, and strategies that make up Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Techniques such as: Arm-Bars, Triangle Chokes, Mount escapes, and much MUCH more.
The final part of class is open sparring. Students are encouraged to spar or "Roll" in order to learn how the techniques flow together. Practicing your technique against a live opponent is what makes Jiu Jitsu different from other martial arts. The Rolling is always safe, fun, and a good way to know what you need to work on in your game.
